Deepak B. AnapMobilization With Movement or MWM is a novel manual therapy technique which claim to provide immediate pain free improvement of range of motion and functional activities. Mulligan practiced Physical Therapy for 40 years and from the experience he gained from it, MWM was devised. MWM treatment for Lateral epicondylitis involves both manual therapy and active muscle exercise of the forearm extensors. Recent research has shown that a single treatment session of mobilization with movement for the elbow, a peripheral joint manipulative therapy technique, produces substantial and immediate hypoalgesic effect in pain free grip strength and pressure pain threshold in Chronic lateral epicondylitis .This book aims to provide the most up to date insight into the practical application of Mulligans technique and conventional Physiotherapy treatment in subjects with chronic lateral epicondylitis.
